1.Clasticreservoir rocks found in hundreds of oil and gas fields. The non-marinereservoir rocks were deposited in fluvial and lacustrine environments,whereas the marine reservoirs were deposited in deltaic, shallow marine, anddeep marine environments.

2. Scientists were surprised to learn that the first rock they analyzed contained many of the same minerals that were common on Earth. The rock composition was similar to andesite（安山巖）, a rock formed by volcanic activity. Andesite on Mars was an unexpected find as volcanoes are rare on the red planet.
